BEHAVIORAL CONDUCT POLICY

PURPOSE

Greening Spring Branch is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all participants. This policy outlines our expectations for behavior and our commitment to preventing bullying, inappropriate language, and physical altercations.

ANTI-BULLYING

We do not tolerate any form of bullying, including:

  • Verbal abuse, teasing, or name-calling

  • Social exclusion or intimidation

  • Cyberbullying or online harassment

  • Threats or manipulation​

All individuals have the right to participate without fear of mistreatment or humiliation.

NON-VIOLENCE

Physical aggression of any kind—including fighting, pushing, or threatening gestures—is strictly prohibited. We promote peaceful conflict resolution and respectful dialogue.

Any act of violence will result in immediate intervention and may lead to suspension or permanent exclusion from Greening Spring Branch programs.

RESPECTFUL LANGUAGE

We expect all communication to be:

  • Free from profanity, slurs, or offensive remarks

  • Inclusive and affirming of all identities

  • Supportive and constructive, especially during disagreements

Inappropriate language will be addressed immediately and may result in removal from activities.

REPORTING AND RESPONCE

  • Concerns can be reported confidentially to a site coordinator.

  • All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly.

  • Consequences may include verbal warnings, mediation, suspension, or removal from participation.
