OUR WORK
Greening Spring Branch (GSB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of local streams in the area. The organization aims to address the degradation of these streams, which have become polluted with trash and oil. GSB's mission is to prevent trash from entering the oceans, thereby protecting marine life and habitats. The organization seeks to raise awareness and funds to support their cleaning initiatives and educational courses on environmental stewardship.
WHAT WE DO
EVERY STREAM HAS A STORY; AND WE ARE HERE TO MAKE IT FLOW ON.
The GSB Project was launched to address the growing pollution in our local streams. Over time, these vital waterways have deteriorated—choked with oil, and suffering trash, slick with from poor maintenance. What began as a revealed itself local concern has to be part of a much larger environmental crisis.

One of the main reasons we started this initiative is the overwhelming amount of waste still present in our streams. When trash accumulates in these channels, it doesn’t stay put—it travels. Eventually, it reaches the ocean, where it threatens marine life and destroys delicate ecosystems.

A study by the Center for Biological Diversity found that over 40% of our oceans are polluted with trash, much traced back inland, to small local streams.

By tackling pollution at its source, we can dramatically of waste entering reduce the amount our oceans. Cleaning and maintaining our local streams aren’t just an environmental duty—it’s a powerful act of preservation for future generations.
Let’s take action. Join our mission today or donate here.
